How to convert NCM to MP3

Use this NCM to MP3 converter when a music player cannot open an NCM file saved by NetEase Cloud Music. Select the file itself from your device, rather than a song link or an app cache folder. The tool creates a separate MP3 listening copy and keeps your original. Try our sample first: it contains our own short synthetic spoken recording, packaged as NCM.

NCM input
Saved .ncm files containing MP3 or FLAC audio. A renamed file, incomplete download, or another app’s cache format will not work.
MP3 output
192 kbps at 44.1 kHz by default. Choose 96 or 128 kbps for speech, or 192–320 kbps for music. More bitrate does not restore missing detail.
Batch conversion
Up to 10 files, processed in order. Each file can be up to 100 MB on a computer, or 25 MB on touch devices. Download individual MP3 files or one ZIP.

NCM to MP3 questions

What is an NCM file?

NCM is a music file format used by NetEase Cloud Music. Many other players cannot open it directly. This tool reads supported NCM files already saved on your device and makes MP3 copies; it does not download songs or access your music account.

Is NCM to MP3 conversion lossless?

No. This NCM to MP3 converter encodes the recovered audio as MP3 using your chosen settings. FLAC audio loses some detail, and MP3 audio goes through another round of compression. Keep the original for archiving, and listen before sharing the copy.

Will NCM to MP3 keep album covers and song information?

No. Album artwork and tags such as artist, album, and track number are not kept. The MP3 download uses the original base filename. Use a converter with tag preservation if your music library needs that information.

Why won’t my NCM file convert?

Check that the download finished and that the file really ends in .ncm. Renaming another file to .ncm does not change its format. Try a fresh copy from the app that saved it. Damaged files and NCM files containing audio other than MP3 or FLAC are not supported.

Can I convert NCM to MP3 on my phone?

Yes, with a supported browser and a saved NCM file under the 25 MB touch-device limit. Select it from Files or your download folder. The first conversion needs an internet connection to load the audio resources. Save the MP3 before closing or refreshing this tab.

Can I convert several files at once?

Add up to 10 files. They are processed one after another, and you can download each finished result or save the batch in one ZIP. Each file can be up to 100 MB, or 25 MB on touch devices. Use a computer for larger recordings.

Where is my download, and what happens to the original?

Choose Download beside a finished file. Look in your browser’s Downloads or the Files app on your phone; some browsers offer a sharing menu. The original is unchanged. Results are kept only in this tab, so download them before refreshing or leaving.
